The CetaceaHumpbacks & Dolphins SingThis is a fine recording of Humpback Whale songs in Hawai'i, and demonstrates the Humpbacks triggering a synthesizer with their own sounds through a MIDI pitch-tracker. This is the first time a whale has played a musical instrument. The Dolphin Valentine track demonstrates a conversion of dolphin sounds to MIDI form, and demonstrates the musical character of their sounds. These recordings showcase the SongSwimmer communication interface to bridge between the Cetacea and ourselves. More Info Hear

Sirius Institute LinksJuly 14,2003 This is a fine recording of Humpback Whale songs in Hawai'i, and demonstrates the Humpbacks triggering a synthesizer with their own sounds through a MIDI pitch-tracker. This is the first time a whale has played a musical instrument. The Dolphin Valentine track demonstrates a conversion
of dolphin sounds to MIDI form, and demonstrates the musical character
of their sounds. These recordings showcase the SongSwimmer communication
interface to bridge between the Cetacea and ourselves. You can
download a sample of each
track HERE. Cetacean language is more complex and over a much broader
frequency range than ours, and is being "spoken" by beings that have
larger brains and are more intelligent than we are. Therefore, the SongSwimmer
is part of a teaching tool by which the Cetacea are able to teach us
what THEY think WE ought to know. We are the students here. Introducing the Sirius Institute We are partnering with the dolphins and whales to make a better world as united co-species. We invite you to participate in creating human-dolphin co-creative habitats in Hawai’i where we will live with the free dolphins (Spinners & Bottlenose), be healed by them, and birth our babies underwater with them. We will perform interspecies concerts where the dolphins and the whales can play MIDI instruments with human musicians. Through sound-operated computer interfaces, we will establish full objective interspecies communication and complete Dr. John C. Lilly’s vision of integrating our two cultures, so the people of the land and the people of the sea will become CO-species, as we once were. In this process, we will learn who we are, our history, and how to live properly on the Earth. We will learn how the dolphins heal, how to birth and raise our children in optimal ways. See this page for a picture of a site in Hawai’i we have located. Here there are lava warmed tidal pools, accessible to free dolphins and humans, wonderful for swimming, birthing and more. This is the "New Philadelphia" **, the first embassy for the newly declared Cetacean Commonwealth - Uniting the people who for now speak on their behalf and the dolphin and whale "nations" through which the dolphins and whales will gain their rights as sentient beings under human law so all of them (from the Blue & Sperm & Humpback whales, Orcas, Spinner & Bottlenose dolphins, the Narwhals and other species) will be honored as the wise, loving beings we know them to be. In the process we will learn much about the Cetacea and ourselves. To learn more about our projects, see: www.planetpuna.com/Projects.htm **Philadelphia means " love of dolphins". The root "phil"
means love and "a-del" means dolphin or brother)
hence, "love of dolphins" The next generation of our children will be born and raised with dolphins. These children will be astounding by ordinary standards, developing faster, ambidextrous, and, by being with dolphins from birth, will have deep understanding of them ... the first CO-species cohort since ancient Greece. Together, we can change the heart of the world. Participate with us in this grand undertaking. We invite your participation, your suggestions, your insights. For a $20 gift, we will gift you a copy of our CD The Cetacea. Send your dollars so the dolphins and whales can have a home away from home where we share music, share our lives - and the love we have in common. A portion of the proceeds of what we receive will be put
in a Cetacean Commonwealth Fund to further its purposes. A portion
of the proceeds will go into the DAWN Birth Camp and Human-Dolphin Habitat,
to secure the site and construct the habitat. All gifts are tax exempt through the End Fatigue Foundation. (details on request) In the Spirit of Aloha, Michael T. Hyson, Ph.D. Research Director Sirius Institute, Puna, Hawai'i Founding Partner
