TWO FOR ONE ON 4/20 Thursday April 20 from 4:20 to 8pm., Lola’s Café located Hilo Lagoon Center, near state building, overlooking koi ponds.
*PlanetPuna* the Aloha Planet and Lola's Cafe proudly present the real time and cyberlaunch of the book "First, This" by part time resident and local author Jude Graham, reading from her book and signing autographs. She will be accompanied by Max on guitar and other musicians.
As well, the Sirius Institute, Big Island whale/dolphin/space research consortium, celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Cetacean Commonwealth, presented originally at Earth Day Los Angeles, April 20, 2002, dedicated to bringing about a greater voice between humans and Cetacea (whales and dolphins) by working on establishing effective communications between humans and Cetacea. Learn about Cetacea with Dr. Michael Hyson, Star Newland and others.
In a unique collaboration between Lola’s Cafe, *PlanetPuna* and Jude Graham these events will make local cyber history by being the first cyber book launch from Lola’s and likely the island or state and the first cyber celebration of the Cetacean Commonwealth. "People anywhere in the world can ‘meet the author, be here to join us in hearing live whale songs and share the excitement of the day through the internet" says Star, producer of the event.
First, This is the first book written and published by author, artist, and activist Jude Graham. Inspired by the black sands of Kehena beach and calmness of Kalapana as well as other locales First, This is a compilation of Jude’s vibrantly colored abstract art and omniversal wisdom.
Timothy Wyllie, author "Dolphins, Et’s & Angels, the Deta Factor" says this about "First,This", "Jude Graham is an authentic new spiritual voice. First, This is a message from the bright world. Ms. Graham, like an interplanetary anthropologist, leaves hints and clues as to how we may all reach through to the light of a transformed world."
It is friendship with people like Timothy Wyllie and locations like Fire Island that Jude and Star have in common that led to the celebration of these two events on the same day. Long time friend Lola Tocaloma’s Café makes for the location. *PlanetPuna* and Lola’s Café are working together to create events to share aloha through the world wide web.
Since her first visit to Hawai’I in 1999, Jude, Tigerhawk as she is also known lives part time here on the Big Island, in rural Oregon and New York City. Currently she is creating material for her next two books.
Come meet the author, hear live whalesongs and digeridoo, share music and light pupus prepared by Lola.
A website for "First, This" is presently under construction and can be viewed at www.planetpuna.com soon.
